Xi Jinping"s socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era is Chinese scientific transformation theory of Marxism in the current times. Based on the path of stimulating endogenous dynamics, enhancing external force guidance, optimizing publication and interpretation, and changing the working mode, this paper proposes to enhance four dimensions of "consciousness, long-term effectiveness, permeability and practicality", so as to promote Xi Jinping"s socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era to take root in the brain. In order to provide a long-term mechanism for colleges and universities to scientifically grasp the ideological connotation, arm their minds and guide their practice, we should make efforts to learn, understand and put the theory into practice.
